We offer
guided tours by reservation.
The guided tours cost $12 / hour per guide, with group sizes
of 15 persons maximum, with previous reservation.
Drivers and guides who bring visitors to the Botanical
Garden get in free.

Visiting Tips: |
 |
It is
recommended to dress in light clothes and comfortable shoes
for walking.
Bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, raincoat or
umbrella. |

Garden
facilities are accessible to people with disabilities. |

Our garden has
also the facilities for blind persons which can explore in a
self guided manner through a rail with signs in brail which
explain the characteristics of the plants in the garden. |

Garden Shop: |

We sell
tropical juices, power drinks, water, Costa Rica gourmet
coffee and books such as: tropical plants, orchids, garden
design, bonsai etc., also travel guides, books of national
parks, maps and other articles as raincoats and ornamental
plants. |

Our garden conditions: |
 |
Help preserve the Garden's
serene atmosphere and maintain its unique and beautiful
collections. Please refrain from climbing on trees and
shrubs, picking fruits and vegetables, walking in garden
beds and collecting plants, flowers or labels. |
 |
It is recommended not to touch
the plants in the Botanical Garden. Some of them can be
toxic, may leach or irritate, or also are fragile. |
 |
Many of our trails have
handrails. Please take advantage of them. |
 |
It is important observe the
signage along the paths that advise care be taken regarding
steps, slippery surfaces, toxic plants, electrical wiring,
etc. |
 |
It is not permitted to remove
plants from our Garden, to throw garbage, or to walk in
areas other than our footpaths. |
 |
Foods and drinks are permitted
for consumption only in the rest area. |
 |
Domestic animals are not
allowed. |
 |
Smoking is not permitted on
the footpaths of the Botanical Garden, but is accepted in
the open areas of the main building and/or the rest area. |
 |
All garbage including the
cigarette butts must be deposited in the recycle stations
found at the end of the main building, throughout the
footpaths and in the rest area. Your collaboration
facilitates our program of handling and recycling of
garbage. |
 |
It is absolutely prohibited
the entrance of the visitors to the production areas of the
company without prior authorization. |
 |
No active sports or games
(inline skating, Frisbee, Bicycle riding, swimming, fishing,
skating) are permitted. |

as they stay on the paths and do not disturb the plants and
